Match Report – Wool vs Chickerell Utd
Yesterday saw the Chickens hit the road for the first time this season, away to Wool in what’s never an easy fixture.
After warming up in the rain, the lads weren’t about to let the weather dampen their spirits. Some excellent team play after 15 minutes saw Johnny bag his first goal of the season with a fantastic finish.
Young Oskar (16), making his first start for the team, doubled the lead just before half-time with a brilliant strike to cap off another well-worked move.
With the sun shining in the second half, Oskar came alive – scoring twice in quick succession from outside the box to complete a debut hat-trick and put the Chickens 4-0 up.
With minutes left to play, Taylor rounded off another slick team goal to make it 5-0 – making up for his earlier miss when he had so much time on his hands he forgot how to shoot 🤣.
