It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Trevor Williams, former captain of Weymouth Rugby Club.

For those who wish to pay their respects, Trevor’s funeral will take place on:

🗓 Saturday 17th January 2026
⏰ 11:00am
📍 Harbour View Crematorium, Lytchett Minster (BH16 6AN)
👕👚 Dress Code: Very casual

A reception will follow at the bar on the same premises, where friends, teammates, and all who knew Trevor are welcome to gather and share memories.

Please could you contact Sian, Trevor’s daughter, on 07584 050853. Anyone wishing to attend the funeral is kindly asked to get in touch with her, as she needs to know numbers for catering purposes.

Trevor was a huge part of our club’s history and spirit, and he will be deeply missed.

The government are trying to remove Sport England from the large-scale planning committee—essentially silencing the voice of recreational grounds and grassroots venues in building and development decisions.

This could directly affect us and the places we love to play.
