Crib league started last week. A few snagging points. Firstly the scorecards were rubbish, and putting out peanuts as snacks didn't work. The rattle of dentures put people of their game.

A fantastic presentation lunch. A big thank you to 'The Food Family' for the top notch grub. 'The Bar boys' for keeping the booze flowing, and the 'Navy Lads' for getting the rabble into an orderly queue. Well done to everyone who supported the day.

After only one league match played in the County on Monday evening due to the rain, and the forecast for Wednesday looking just as grim, I was doubtful we'd play at Salisbury. However the gods shone on us and our friendly went ahead. I'd like to thank everyone for coming along and making it a great day. For those of you who missed out this time It's my intention to do another "away day" next year, maybe Bristol. Start saving your pennies, it could get messy.

A Fantastic triple header of friendlies over the last four days.
I'd like to thank the visiting teams from Isle of Wight - Royal Wootton Basset and Guest Memorial. Its been great fun and good sport.
I'd also like to thank all the members of our club for taking part, especially Chrissie and the booze controllers.

Come and try bowls for free. We are having an open week from the 25th to the 29th of April 2017. The green will be open to users from 12:00 til 5:00pm. A great way to have fun & get out in the fresh air, all are welcome.

Nice the bi-annual crib match vs greenhill was won 16 - 14 to us woot.
