We are delighted to announce that Zoe Acutt has become the eighth player to be retained and agree to sign to play for Ridgeway FC Ladies first team this season as they make the move into the South West Regional League.

Zoe made her return to football at the tail end of last season and soon showed what a class player she is.

She can play in a variety of roles on the pitch, has superb technical ability, is good athletically and is also possesses tremendous leadership skills.

Looking forward to seeing her make the step up to the higher League this season.

We are delighted to announce that Eboni Cowan has become the seventh player to be retained and agree to sign to play for Ridgeway FC Ladies first team this season as they make the move into the South West Regional League.

Eboni is one of the main stays of the teams defence and is an integral part of the squad.

She is quick and aggressive and ultra competitive.

Looking forward to seeing her make the step up to the higher League this season.

We are delighted to announce that Abbie Tyler has become the sixth player to be retained and agree to sign to play for Ridgeway FC Ladies first team this season as they make the move into the South West Regional League.

Abbie had a tremendous 2025/26 season making 17 League and Cup apperances.

She has a superb attitude, possesses fantastic ball skills, is a great passer and strikes a great ball.

She also scores her fair share of goals.

Looking forward to seeing her make the step up to the higher League this season.

Ridgeway FC are delighted to announce the signing of Emily Spearing.

Emily is a very talented young midfield player who is very good technically and possesses good ball skills,

She was previously registered with Weymouth FC Women.

She will play for the clubs new Womens team the Black Pearls in their inaugural season in the Dorset Development League.

We are delighted to announce that Amber Stubbs has become the fifth player to be retained and agree to sign to play for Ridgeway FC Ladies first team this season as they make the move into the South West Regional League.

Amber had a fantastic season last year in the Dorset League making 15 appearances.

She was the lynchpin of the Ridgeway defence controlling the back 3 from her sweeper position.

She put in a number of eye catching performances.

Amber is also equally at home playing in midfield.

We look forward to seeing you relish playing in the higher League.

We are delighted to announce that Harriet Freeman has become the fourth player to be retained and agree to sign to play for Ridgeway FC Ladies first team this season as they make the move into the South West Regional League.

Harriet had a superb 2025/26 season scoring 20 goals in the Dorset League competitions and also scored a fantastic hat trick in the teams 5-0 win over Weymouth FC Women in the Plate cup final.

As well as being a quality player Harriet also has tremendous leadership skills and she has been an absolute pleasure to work with since she joined us from Dorchester Town Ladies.

Couldn't resist it any longer had to put this one up.

We are delighted to announce that influential midfielder Annie Redding has become the third player to be retained and agree to sign to play for Ridgeway FC Ladies first team this season as they make the move into the South West Regional League.

Annie joined us two thirds of the way through last season from Weymouth FC Women and she was superb.

She possesses fantastic ball skills and works so hard on and off the ball and she is the ultimate team player

So pleased that Annie enjoyed her time with us last season and wanted to stay.

We are delighted to announce that top scorer Chloe Oldrid has become the second player to be retained and agree to sign to play for Ridgeway FC Ladies first team this season as they make the move into the South West Regional League.

Chloe had an outstanding season last year in the Dorset League and scored 30 times in League and cup.

She possesses good technical ability, is a great athlete and is ultra competitive on the pitch.

We look forward to seeing what she can achieve in the higher League.
