Why did you tear down your self confidence this morning when you looked in the mirror?

Why did you not apply for that job?

Why did you not stand up for yourself?

Why do us women take ourselves out of the equation before it’s even begun? Why do we not have the confidence to just “do it”

Pssst it’s not just because you need to “think like a man” (I’ve genuinely been told this LOL) you need to remember everything you are capable of, what you’ve achieved already... don’t hold yourself back before you’ve even started?

Impressing at a virtual careers fair is ESSENTIAL these days

So here’s some tips:

1) introduce yourself (on camera if you are confident enough!)

2) tell us a little bit about what stage you’re at

3) do your research and ask RELEVANT questions e.g. about the firm/the people!

4) ask open questions - e.g what have you enjoyed most in your training contract? - this opens the conversation and allows you to get to know more!

5) ENJOY IT!🚀

It’s a TWO WAY PROCESS🤔

Yes, this seems to SHOCK people. But in order to succeed YOU have to LIKE the company AND the company has to like you... a two way process!

You won’t be a fit for all firms and that’s the point... you’re not meant to be.

Find what you want, research what they offer, CONNECT with the firm get a feel for the culture and the people and find out if it’s a match🌜🌛

A successful day relies on a successful MORNING ROUTINE!

For me it’s: up at the same time EACH DAY, exercise, shower, coffee, log on, breakfast

I try and get to sleep the same time each night and WAKE UP at the same time too... (even on weekends)

A great morning routine is THE KEY to success. It’s doesn’t have to be complicated but it has to be CONSISTENT🎯

But so is SELF CONFIDENCE, and SELF BELIEF. You can rely on others if you don’t believe in yourself⏰
