Brilliant weekend for the reds down in Lyme Regis.

On Saturday we had our first ever Masters crew enter into competition. They battled hard in some testing conditions at the Masters Regatta and certainly did Portland proud coming home with a 3rd place finish in the Plate Final - massive well done ladies!

On Sunday it was the first Jurassic League Regatta, and we had several crews across different categories battle it out for the first league points of the season. All the crews put in fantastic performances and we're rewarded with some really good results - most notably a win for our Mens crew in the Vets race πŸ’ͺ

Plenty of smiles throughout the whole weekend and a great way to start the league season.

Thank you to our friends Lyme Regis Gig Club for being brilliant hosts!

Next up Weymouth Regatta - see you there!

Exciting milestone for our Masters rowers this weekend as they enter their very first dedicated Masters Regatta! πŸš£β€β™€οΈπŸš£β€β™‚οΈ

Last year, thanks to support from the Dorset Community Foundation, we secured grant funding to purchase gym equipment aimed at enhancing training opportunities for our Masters age group.

Twelve months on, it’s fantastic to see that investment helping our rowers progress from training sessions to competition, with our first Masters crew now representing the club at a specialist regatta.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the project β€” and good luck to the crew racing this weekend! πŸ’ͺ

Three Rivers Race 2026 - βœ…

Brilliant day for the Reds down in Saltash yesterday.Β

Our Ladies and Mens A crews battled hard during their races and put in performances to be proud of. Ladies A finished 48/93 with a time of 56:08 whilst the Men A finished 39/87 with a time of 48:37, giving an overall position of 37/85 for Pulpit Rock.Β

After long winter of training on and off the water it was great to see the hard work starting to pay off.

Well done to all involved πŸ‘ and thank you for hosting
