What a fantastic weekend at Weymouth Golf Club for our 2026 Club Championship. Over 105 members took part across two days of great weather and superb golf.
Huge thanks to Rob Mabb and his Team for presenting the course in outstanding condition — the feedback on the greens has been incredible.

Dorset Vets Spring Meeting
Earlier in the month, the Dorset Vets Spring Meeting took place at Weymouth Golf Club. This was held before the heatwave gripped the county, and players had to ensure all four seasons in one round of golf!

Congratulations to Pat Ray & Jane Renton for being crowned the 2026 Dorset Vets Spring Champions! Well done to all the prize winners, and a big thank you to all players and Weymouth GC for hosting.

Seniors team three won the Nantes Salver yesterday with an impressive 4-2 home win against Bridport seniors. In the absence of the correct trophy, team captain Tristan Murless was happy to make do with something rummaged from the kitchen.
