That’s a wrap on SBR Dorset’s 2025 triathlon season 🙌

What a year it’s been. First-ever marathons ✔️
First triathlons ✔️
First steps onto the iconic M-dot start lines ✔️
And an epic SBR road trip to Austria 🇦🇹

But more than the races, results or finish lines, this year has proved something bigger…
You don’t need monthly subscriptions to be part of a community.
Just a shared passion, some questionable banter, and a team that shows up for each other through the highs, the lows, and everything this sport throws at you.

Proud of every single athlete and team supporter who’s been part of the journey.
2026 is already shaping up to be another big year for the team 👊

🏊‍♀️ 🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ Tomorrow’s the day – Weymouth Ironman 70.3!Usually you’ll find Jo on the rugby pitch – managing the team, cheering on her boys (all 4 of them, who never sit still 🙃), and hiding a hot water bottle in about 6 layers of clothing. But this weekend she’s swapping the sidelines for a wetsuit, a pair of runners, and her trusty bike, Fiona 🚲 Getting here hasn’t been easy – between work, family life and rugby chaos, training time has been hard to find. But completing a 70.3 has been on her list for years, and finally, she’s made it to the start line. And honestly, that’s already such a huge win. 🏅It’s her very first half Ironman, the weather’s looking wild, but if anyone’s built for cold, wet and windy conditions, it’s a rugby mum! 🌧️💨We are beyond proud of you, Jo. Whatever happens out there tomorrow, you’re already a winner to us ❤️👏

SBR have their first competitor clutching an Ironman medal this weekend 🙌 With Dexter smashing it at the Zell am See Ironkids race 🏊‍♂️🏃‍♂️A choppy swim and rainy start didn’t put him off one bit – he crossed that finish line like a pro 👊 Word on the street is there might be a little extra ice cream on the menu tonight 🍦… while the rest of the crew stick to their carb loading duties ahead of tomorrow 💪

🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️ Season Opener Success! 🏊‍♀️🌊

Back in April, Jacqui kicked off her tri season in style at the BUSTINSKIN EVENTS Osprey Sprint Triathlon! 💥 A slight tumble on the bike wasn’t about to stop her — she shook it off, powered to the top of the island like a rocket 🚀, and stormed the run along the scenic causeway to finish strong! 🏁🔥

This one set the tone for the season — gritty, gutsy, and all heart. 💪💙
