Why we control our reps? You probably always hear us trainers say “slow it down!”
Here’s a few demonstrations on the slides shown of what we want some of those reps to look like…
When we slow it down, the muscle actually has to work through the whole movement. You feel it more, you build more, and your joints aren’t taking a beating in the process.
Controlled movement builds real strength through a full range of motion. That transfers to daily life and longevity far better than throwing weight around ever will 😂
We want to create more of a stimulus for your muscles and also protect our machines in the process too 😅
