It was a pleasure to welcome back Emerson, who is on the GB Performance Pathway with the Lawn Tennis Associationfor wheelchair tennis, to our club on Monday 🙌🎾
We were also delighted to have Teleflex with us filming — an exciting experience for everyone involved!
A huge thank you to Ollie as well, who had a fantastic hitting session with Emerson. Great energy, great tennis, and a brilliant day all round 👏💪

🎾 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Be Part of Something Special 💙
The coaching team and committee at Weybridge Lawn Tennis Club are launching a wonderful new community initiative – and we need your help!
This new programme is designed to support adults living with dementia or similar cognitive conditions, providing a safe, welcoming and supportive space to stay active and socially connected.
Do you have a spare hour in your week?
Would you like to make a real difference to someone’s day?
We’re looking for caring, friendly adults to support our sessions. You do NOT need to be able to play tennis – we’re simply looking for people who are happy to chat, encourage participation and help create a warm, inclusive environment for everyone attending.
🗓 Volunteer Training Day
Monday 2nd March
12pm – 3pm
At WLTC
Training will be delivered by Bright Ideas for Tennis, led by Danny Sapsford, former GB Davis Cup player – a fantastic opportunity to learn from an experienced and inspiring team.

This is a chance to be part of something truly meaningful – helping adults remain active, valued and connected within our club community.
