What a brilliant young lady our Erin is!!!
She took to the World Championship stage today with such excitement and anticipation really looking forward to showing off her hard work and brilliant improvements.
The first dance didn't quite go to plan with Erin slipping and falling very heavily injuring her lower back 😢
Erin being the determined and brave girl she is, composed herself and took to the stage again to complete her 1st round. Luck was not on her side as she sadly slipped and fell again 😢 which meant she was then disqualified from the championship part of the competition.
Falling a second time injured Erin even more but after treatment from a medic, she decided to dance through the pain to perform her slip jig!!
She performed the slip jig beautifully with much determination and we are sure adrenaline numbing the pain!!
We are absolutely delighted to say Erin then got a recall and placed 8th in the World out of 110 dancers!!!!!! 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 🎊
Erin is always such a joy to teach and be around and we knew what a determined, talented and focused young lady she was before today but her fight, passion and grace today, after everything she went through, blew us away even more and makes us the proudest teachers ever.
Erin - you are a true shining star with such strength and positivity. Congratulations ❤️ 🎊 👏 💐 🏅 🌎
