Bowls isn’t just a summer game. While we just love sunny Sunday afternoons, as long as it’s not persistently raining, we just wrap up warm and get bowling!

Despite it being another cloudy morning, the greens and clubhouse at Wetherby Bowling Club seem to be in fine fettle. Why not come and try them out? We have all the equipment to get you going, and are there every sunny (and cloudy!) Sunday from 2-4 p.m. All you need to do is bring a flat pair of shoes and your sunny smile ⚫️⚫️🙂⚫️⚫️

So what’s the weather going to be this afternoon? It’s not much fun playing bowls in the pouring rain (though we may have to during matches) so we tend not to practice on Sunday afternoons if it’s cold and wet. We may be dodging showers this afternoon, but if you’d like to come and give bowls a try – for the first time, or the first time in a while – then we’ll be ready to welcome you at Wetherby Bowling Club, Grange Park, Wetherby, LS22 5NB.
