Weston Tennis Club Weston Tennis Club is situated in the heart of the town and with 5 tarmac floodlit courts, offers the best tennis facilities in Weston Super Mare.

This friendly club caters for all standards of play. If you enjoy playing competitively we have representative teams in both the Avon and North Somerset County Doubles Leagues. We also run an internal singles league and organise singles and doubles tournaments at various times through the year. We also organise regular Junior tournaments. If you prefer to play socially there is a range of daytime, evening and weekend sessions including a ladies only session and junior sessions with our LTA Coach. As well as fun tournaments, for example at Halloween, which has been a huge success, and summer fun days, including a BBQ. The sessions cater for all standards of play and new members are always very welcome so if you feel you would like to give the Club a try, please turn up at a club session with your tennis kit and enjoy a free introductory game. Weston TC is pleased to announce that coach Ben will be hosting a weekly Friday night pickleball club session from 5.30pm till 7pm, starting this Friday, 18th September.
The club sessions will be open to players who have completed a pickleball introduction session with coach Ben, or players who are already regular players, however for the first couple of weeks coach Ben will be happy to do some introductions during the club night for anyone who would like to have a go.
The club nights will be free to WTC members, or £3 for non members. Paddles and balls can be provided, but we'd encourage you to bring your own paddle if you have one.

Weston TC hosted it's very first Pickleball introduction session today. We had 6 attendees, several of whom were complete beginners. By the end of the 1.5hr session everyone was able to keep score, know the basic rules, hit the basic shots and understand some basic strategy/tactics. Coach Ben will be running another Pickleball session on Saturday, 10th October at 2pm (a sign-up sheet will be put up in the clubhouse soon, or you can contact Ben to book a place).
Ben is also looking at starting a regular weekly Pickleball club session on Friday evenings, more details to come soon, so please keep an eye out on here for updates.
