⚓ REGATTA WEEKEND IS COMING… ⚓
Two days of racing, feasting, questionable tactical decisions, and at least one person insisting they “totally meant to do that” when they absolutely did not.

⛵ RACING
Saturday 18th July
High Tide: 10:30am (11.82m)
Race Start Window: 8:30am

Sunday 19th July
High Tide: 11:11am (11.35m)
Race Start Window: 9:11am

🍳 From 7am each morning: Full English breakfasts
Fuel for sailors, spectators, and anyone brave enough to be awake before the tide.
🥟 Lunchtime: hot pasties
Because no regatta has ever been improved by an empty stomach.
🥗 Saturday Evening Supper
Summer salmon salad followed by proper puddings and generous helpings of cream. As tradition (and stretchy waistbands) demand.
🎶 And then…
Station 2 Station take over the evening, ensuring everyone discovers whether dancing after a full day afloat is a brilliant idea or a terrible one. (Spoiler: it’s both.)

Whether you’re racing, spectating, volunteering, socialising, or just here for breakfast number two — there’s a place for you.

This week WBYC hosted the KS1 children from Banwell Primary school who came to the club to learn about water safety from the RNLI and to look at the boats on the river for a project they are doing this term. The weather gods played their normal games but the sideways rain didn't put off these amazing children and fun was had by all. Here's the thank you card the children made for the RNLI.
