Not our day today and we crash out of the county cup in round one 🤦🏻‍♂️

I wouldn’t put it down as an off day more so us being 10% off it against a very very good side and them punishing us for it. It’s always tough playing new sides but this side are going to be tough to beat for anybody 🤷‍♂️

Knowing very little about our opponents as they’re a new side it’s safe to say we don’t know what we’re up against. But judging by there start to the season this could be an absolute classic of a cup tie 🤞🏻❤️

Nowhere near good enough from us today. After leading the game twice we absolutely fell apart second half and Weston Celtic come away deserved winners and we have zero excuses the better team won today

About everything that could go wrong did go wrong. A penalty given away, a red card for our goalkeeper now leaving us with both goalkeepers suspended and then just to cap it off 5 forced substitutions through injuries 🤦🏻‍♂️

The only positive to take from today is the effort and commitment our 16 year olds showed off the bench. All 3 we have at the club came off the bench today in less then ideal circumstances but all put in good performances and more importantly had passion and effort ❤️

Pre season done 😮‍💨 8 matches played, 4 wins, 1 draw and 3 losses 👊

The lads have done extremely well this pre season playing 6 matches against higher league opposition gaining valuable experience against top teams/players and 2 matches against other division 3 sides

Now for the rollercoaster that is the Weston & District season 🤩❤️
