🇬🇧🐴 TEAL MEETS THUNDER BAY THERAPEUTIC RIDING ASSOCIATION, CANADA! 🇨🇦🐴

It was absolutely lovely to welcome Lindsey from Thunder Bay Therapeutic Riding Association in Canada to TEAL today! 💜

We had such an interesting time hearing about the fantastic work they are doing with young people in Canada, sharing experiences and chatting about the many ways horses can support learning, development and wellbeing.

Lindsey certainly won’t be going home empty-handed! ✈️📚🇨🇦

She is taking back two of our TEAL Equine-Assisted Learning Activities Guide books, packed full of practical groundwork session ideas, with learning and developmental outcomes identified for each activity.

We really hope they provide lots of inspiration for future sessions and, most importantly, help support some of the young people Lindsey and her team are working with. 🐴💜

It’s quite special to think that activities developed and used here at TEAL CIC in Surrey will now be making their way across the Atlantic to Canada! 🌎

Thank you, Lindsey, for taking the time to come and visit us. It was wonderful to meet you, hear about your work and share ideas.

💚🐴 THIS is what TEAL is all about… 🐴💚

What a lovely memory to see pop up!

A previous TEAL student shared this from 8 years ago, remembering the time he spent with us studying TEAL TEACH accredited equine education and volunteering — and saying that although his time at TEAL was brief, it was “time well spent” and that he made a lifelong friend along the way. ❤️

For us, that means so much.

Education isn’t only about the qualification you achieve or the work you complete. It’s about the memories you make, the confidence you build, the friendships you form and the experiences you carry with you into adulthood.

To know that 8 years later, someone can look back on their time at TEAL with such fond memories is pretty special. 🥹💚

And we have to say… the “I love my job” artwork still makes us smile too! 😂🐴

Young people may only be with us for one small chapter of their lives, but we hope TEAL gives them something positive that stays with them long after they leave.

Enjoy, Achieve… and make memories along the way. ❤️

🐴🎪 WHEN TEAL MET THE BRAVO SHOW! 🎪🐴

We couldn’t resist sharing these brilliant photos from the Edenbridge & Oxted Show! 💜

Our neighbours at The Bravo Show certainly knew how to get our attention when their very talented miniature horses came over to say hello to the TEAL stand! 😂🐴

It was fantastic watching them demonstrate some of their tricks right outside our stand — and, as you can imagine, anything involving horses is always going to stop the TEAL team in their tracks!

What we particularly loved was seeing the communication, partnership and training between the horses and their handlers. Teaching any horse a behaviour takes time, consistency, trust and an understanding of how that individual horse learns — something that links beautifully with so much of what we teach through our Positive Equine Relationships, Behaviour & Training course. 🧠🐴

Events like this aren’t just about promoting what we do. They’re about meeting people, sharing ideas, making connections and celebrating everything that’s wonderful about the equine world.

A huge thank you to the Bravo Show team and their fabulous little equine stars for popping over and giving us our very own ringside performance! ⭐️

🏆💜 WE WON SECOND PRIZE! 💜🏆

What an amazing surprise at the Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show! 🎉🐴

We are absolutely thrilled that the TEAL CIC stand has been awarded SECOND PRIZE for our trade stand! 🥈

At an event of this size, with so many incredible stands and exhibitors, this really is a massive honour and something we’re incredibly proud of.

It was also wonderful to have the opportunity to speak with the judges and stewards, tell them more about TEAL, the work we do with our young people, our accredited education and the exciting growth of TEAL TEACH™. 💜

So much work goes on behind the scenes to prepare for events like this, so seeing that little SECOND PRIZE board sitting proudly amongst our course books certainly made our day! 🥹

And most importantly, we’ve had the chance to meet so many people, make new connections and talk about something we are incredibly passionate about — helping young people enjoy, learn and achieve. 🐴📚✨

A huge thank you to everyone at the Edenbridge & Oxted Agricultural Show for such a wonderful recognition.
