Westbury 192 ao | Corsham 193-6
A. Alger top-scored with a brilliant 76, well supported by J. Grosvenor (47). R. Oakley (3-20) and Grosvenor (2-13) kept us in it with the ball, but Corsham just got there in the end. 😔

2nd XI vs RWB CC — L
Westbury 241-7 | RWB 263-3
A real batting effort from J. Dark (67) and L. Bates (57) set a competitive total, but RWB chased it down comfortably. 🔥

Development vs Hampset — L
Westbury 248 ao | Hampset 317-9
J. Trotman (48) and S. Higgins (30) gave us a platform, but a big total from Hampset proved too much.

Westbury claim local bragging rights

Westbury & District CC claimed local bragging rights with an impressive five wicket victory over rivals Warminster CC in the WEPL Wiltshire Premier Division.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Warminster were unable to build any real momentum against a disciplined Westbury bowling attack and were eventually dismissed for 154 in 40.3 overs.

Richard Oakley set the tone with an excellent opening spell, finishing with three wickets for 40 runs from his 10 overs, while Tom Lucas produced a match-winning performance with the ball, taking four wickets for 31 runs from his full allocation of overs.

Rory White also bowled superbly to claim two wickets for just 16 runs including the wicket of Josef Breet, while Daniel Gill chipped in with a wicket as Westbury maintained control throughout the innings.
