🏆Wiltshire Women’s Hardball Champions🏆

Fantastic performance from our Ladies side saw them win the league by just 1 point in a Friday night thriller versus Frome, going to the final ball where our Ladies were victorious and sealed the win!
A real team effort throughout the season to be crowned hardball champions, well done Ladies👏🏼💙

An amazing season for the Ladies saw them finish 1st in the hardball league and 2nd in both softball league and cup competition👏🏼

🏏WESTBURY CC- WEEK RESULTS🏏

A mixed weekend for Westbury & District CC, with some fantastic individual performances and two well-earned victories to celebrate! Here's the full roundup:

1ST XI VS WARMINSTER CC🔴
Westbury 218 all out (48)- Warminster 219-2 (42.4) LOSS
A brilliant 123 from Javon Grosvenor gave the 1st XI a competitive total. With the ball Tom Lucas claimed 1-36 and Rich Oakley kept things tight with 0-22, but ultimately Warminster reached the total.

2ND XI VS WARMINSTER CC🟢
Westbury 145-2 (31.4)- Warminster 142 all out (42) WIN
A dominant bowling display led by Adam Standfield (4-19) and Jebin George (2-24) restricted the visitors before unbeaten knocks from James Dark (46*) and Leo Bates (41*) calmly guided Westbury home.

3RD XI VS BURBAGE CC🔴
Westbury 108 all out (19.1)- Burbage 109-1 (15.3) LOSS
A difficult afternoon for the 3rd XI, but Paul Pitman battled hard with the ball, finishing with 1-25.

MIDWEEK T20 VS WINSLEY CC🔴
Westbury 177-4 (20)- Winsley 180-1 (16.1) LOSS
A high-scoring encounter saw Adam Alger produce a superb unbeaten 95*, well supported by Javon Grosvenor's 54, but Winsley chased the target down.

DEVELOPMENT XI VS LOXWOOD CC🟡
Westbury 228-8 (35)- Loxwood 228- AO (35) TIED
A thrilling finish! Jamar Trotman anchored the innings with 51* before also starring with the ball, taking 2-20. Charlie Weston chipped in with 2-29 as the sides couldn't be separated. What a joy to watch our junior players step up to play with our development side!

LADIES VS TROWBRIDGE CC 🟢
Westbury 100-3 (95 balls)- Trowbridge 99-7 (100 balls) WIN
A fantastic all-round team performance from the Ladies, edging home by one run in a tense 100 ball competition to round the weekend off on a high! 💙

⭐PLAYER HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEKEND⭐

🏏Javon Grosvenor- 123 for the 1st XI and 54 in the Midweek T20. Another outstanding week with the bat🌟

🏏Adam Alger- 95* in the Midweek T20. A superb unbeaten innings that deserved to be on the winning side.

🏏🎱Jamar Trotman- 51* and 2-20 for the Development XI in an excellent all-round display.

🎱Adam Standfield- 4-19 to set up a brilliant 2XI victory.

A week finishing with 2 wins, 3 losses and a thrilling tie. Plenty of positives to take, some standout individual performances, and lots to build on heading into another busy week of cricket!🏏
