A grassroots rugby club in Westbury with mens and womens teams. New members welcome. Westbury Men's First Team are a friendly team of mixed ages and abilities.

They train every Thursday from 7pm and play most Saturdays in season. The 2020/2021 season sees them moving up a league. The men's team can best be summed up as “work hard, play hard” and the social side of rugby is just as important as the fun on the field. If you are wanting to try a new sport, get your fitness up or are new to the area why not give Westbury RFC a try! They train every Thursday

from 7pm. Westbury Ladies team was started just 10 years ago but from tiny acorns large oaks grow. They have won NC SW North 2 League twice, seen our players play at county level and had a lot of fun along the way. We welcome new players of all age and ability, no experience necessary and you can be at any level of fitness. We have a great squad with a real range of girls so if you'd like to come along and see what it's all about feel free to come along to training on a Wednesday at 7pm till 8.30pm.

🏈 Pre-Season Diaries – Session 1

The 2026 pre-season got underway in a scorching 34°C, with 25 players turning out for the first session.

The evening consisted of a series of conditioned touch rugby games, designed to ease everyone back into rugby mode while blowing away the cobwebs after the off-season.

With temperatures soaring, the coaches kept everyone topped up with ice-cold water, helping the squad stay hydrated and focused throughout the session.

A fantastic turnout and a great first step towards the new season. Bring on Session 2! 💚🖤

It’s Volunteers’ Week, and as a grassroots rugby club, we simply couldn’t do what we do without the incredible people behind the scenes. 🟢⚫️

A couple of weeks ago, we held our Men’s Club Dinner to celebrate what has been a hugely successful season for Westbury RFC — one that we believe is a real building block for the years ahead.

A massive congratulations to all of our award winners. Every player recognised thoroughly deserves their award. From club stalwarts who have represented the club for many years, to those who joined us this season and immediately embraced everything the club is about, each of you has played a huge part in making this year such a positive one.

Now that the dust has settled on a brilliant season we just wanted to shout out a couple of achievements.

Well done to Fraser on scoring 16 tries this season and Sione for scoring 160 points. Both incredible returns. 🟢⚫️
