A much better performance from the lads seen a close well battled match with Semington.

We went 1-0 down after a beautfiul ball by the away team was finished off. However, we equalised after Lanfs whipped in a cross for Chris to head home.

2nd half saw Semington go 2-1 up after 2 minutes after a cross ended up going top bins. But we kept pushing hard and got what we deserved after a debatable goal from Chris hits the post and the keeper. But he claims its his 👀

The last 10 mins saw both teams go for the win with end to end stuff but the score finished 2-2

Great performance by the whole team and very very solid at the back

The first win of the season for the Celtic boys 💚🤍💚🤍

Lanfs opened the scoring after a bit of a scramble in the away box came to a goal for Celtic.

Steeple Ashton then equalised after a good ping and a tidy finish.

Half time going in 1-1. Celtic came out strong and shortly scored after a lovely run and cut back by Lanfs Making up for last week...👀

Steeple went down to 10 men after their keeper took down Hayden through on goal.

However, they managed to equalise after a deflected free kick caught out Westo to go 2-2

But the last 10 minutes saw Hayden score a WORLDIE. Curling into the top right corner and winning us the game 3-2

You don't get many better first games of the season than that.

Warminster took the game right to us scoring an early opener. After the boys started the settle we chris managed to get and equaliser.

The lads then had the worse 20 minutes I've seen. Conceding 3 and going 4-1 down.

The 2nd half saw a much more composed side as we played some great Football at times.

As the game was becoming a bit of a stalemate. 2 subs by Celtic were made. 1 of these subs Jake Kingston scored within 2 minutes of coming on with a half volley.

Chris then got his 2nd of the game with a peach of a free kick going in off the post.

We were 4-3 down with 25 to play but Warminster came back and scored their 5th which was very well worked.

But yet again we came back into the game. Harry with a nice finish after a perfectly weighted pass by marc

Then in the 90+ minute a free kick was awarded to Westbury, where we had the whole team in the box. A ball pumped in the box by Hayden somehow was finished off by Chris for his hatrick.

Overall a great game ending 5-5 which was played in great spirits. Thankyou Warminster Athletic for today and good luck with the rest of the season.

The first defeat for Westbury Celtic came from Steeple Ashton. A very fast paced first half saw Steeple Ashton take the lead with a nice finish.

Haydn Marshman got his first ever goal for the club after a rebound coming of the keeper.

Steeple Ashton then scored 2 quick goals from 2 corners to lead 3-1. Joe Whiteman scored a screamer to give the lads a glimmer of hope and take the game 3-2 with 15 minutes to play.

But Steeple Ashton quickly finished the game off after a great headed finish.

The game finishing 2-4 to Steeple Ashton. We would like to thank the hosts and wish them the best for the season ahead.

This game is a wake up call for us and we will build on it and look forward to the next game 💚🤍💚🤍

A very sunny morning saw Westbury Celtic and Fox & Hounds have a close tough game.

Celtic opened the game with Marc Lanfear scoring in the opening five minutes. Fox & Hounds then came back into the match after a deflection going in our net.

Alfie green then scored on his debut after a ball in the box by Marc Lanfear falling to Alfies feet. After a couple great saves by Jayden Weston we sadly conceded shortly after his heroics.

At the final whistle the game ended 2-2 where the Celtics can hold their heads high with the performance.
