Feel stressed with your inbox and the volume of emails?
Take these steps today...
👉 unsubscribe from all the rubbish emails you never read, nor remember subscribing to in the first place.
👉 treat your inbox like an in tray and have subfolders ie action - emails requiring attention / waiting - you've done your bit, you are now waiting on a response / reference - you might need to refer back to it / read - newsletters etc to read when you have time.
👉 use the clear email function to delete email chains and to leave you with the latest email and any with attachments.
👉 sort by title rather than received date, this groups the emails together so you haven't got to scroll for them.
👉 use do, delete and delegate process when going through them.
👉 for bigger tasks block out time in your diary to take action. This helps reduce overwhelm.
👉 don't make the mistake of sitting in your inbox; you can waste hours in there. Instead, block regular times out to check ie first thing, maybe before lunch, then at the end of the day.
The unsubscribe bit will help you to feel a bit more on top of things again! So stop clicking delete hundreds of times a day and instead get rid of them!
