In a changing world, inclusion requires action

Creating inclusive sport and physical activity opportunities starts with understanding people as individuals. By listening, adapting and removing barriers, clubs and activity providers can build trust and create environments where everyone feels welcome.

Tamzin Reid shares her lived experience and practical ways to make sessions more inclusive for neurodivergent people ⤵️

Last week, Stuart, our Place Programme Manager (Medway), brought together a range of Medway clubs to explore their part in helping to shape more active communities. Representatives from hockey, rugby, korfball, sailing, volleyball, running, triathlon, rambling and roller dance came along to hear about the place-based investment across Medway and share their local knowledge and perspectives.

đź’¬"It was great to bring together such a diverse range of clubs and discuss how sport and physical activity can play a bigger role in shaping healthier, more connected communities across Medway. The enthusiasm and willingness to get involved was fantastic to see." Stuart Butler, Active Kent & Medway

🙌Thank you Medway Sport for supporting the event and helping make it a success. We look forward to continuing the conversation with local clubs and organisations, working together to create lasting change across Medway.
