Thursday night tennis at Trottiscliffe 🎾

What a lovely way to finish our Thursday rota tonight! A little light rain, an incredible orange sky and even a beautiful rainbow over the courts.

A huge thank you to Lesley Benje for being such a fantastic organiser of the Thursday sessions. Tonight was her last session organising, and we’re so grateful for all the time, effort and enthusiasm she’s put into making Thursdays such a great part of the club.

Thank you to everyone who came along and played tonight….despite the weather! We had plenty of company too, with moths, birds and even bats joining us on court. 🦇

There really is nowhere quite like Trottiscliffe Tennis Club. Great tennis, great people and the occasional wildlife spectator!

🌈 After the rain comes the rainbow…

After months and months of sunshine, we finally had a proper rainy tennis session at Trottiscliffe Tennis Club last night and just look what appeared above the club! 🌈 🌈 doubles.

Two of our members captured these absolutely incredible photos during their session, with the most stunning rainbows stretching across the sky and all those beautiful colours shining over the courts.

Proof that even a rainy tennis night can be pretty spectacular!

Autumn/Winter Tennis Coaching is Here! 🎾

Summer may be drawing to a close, but there’s plenty to look forward to at Trottiscliffe Tennis Club with our new Autumn/Winter Coaching Programme, starting 1st September.

Run by Frankie’s Tennis Academy, the programme offers sessions for all ages and abilities. LTA-accredited coaches Frankie and Holly bring a supportive and friendly approach, making sessions fun, engaging and progressive.

Members and non-members are all welcome, so whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or looking to take your game to the next level, come and join us!

Wimbledon Ballot Reminder

Keep an eye on your inbox!

The LTA should have emailed eligible Advantage members about opting in to the Wimbledon Ballot. If you’ve received the email, don’t forget to complete your opt-in if you’d like the chance to apply for tickets.

There are currently 30 days left to opt in, so don’t leave it until the last minute.

If you can’t find the email, be sure to check your junk or spam folder.

Good luck…we hope to see some of our members at Wimbledon next year!
