The two golf courses, Spitfire and Hurricane, named in honour of the iconic fighter planes that flew out of the nearby airfield at West Malling during the Second World War, will be a challenge for all standards of golfer. Cold conditions didn’t dampen spirits on Monday as members turned out for the Vets Captain’s Drive-In — thank you to everyone who wrapped up warm and came along to support the occasion.

It was a pleasure to welcome Trevor Potter as the new Vets Captain, and we wish him all the best for the year ahead.

With thanks to Mick Twort, outgoing Vets Captain, for the time and effort he devoted to the group during his year in the role.

A wonderful way to start the New Year by welcoming our new captains! On New Year’s Day, we were delighted to see in our new Captain Dave Allison and Lady Captain Jane Woodward. We’re excited for all they will bring to the club in the year ahead.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our outgoing Captain Gerry Miller and Lady Captain Anne Smart for their dedication, leadership, and hard work. Your contributions to the club are greatly appreciated.
