The two golf courses, Spitfire and Hurricane, named in honour of the iconic fighter planes that flew out of the nearby airfield at West Malling during the Second World War, will be a challenge for all standards of golfer. Complemented by two putting greens, a covered eleven bay driving range, practice chipping and bunker area. After your round of golf be sure to sample the fine dining facilities available with an extensive menu in both the Restaurant and Conservatory or simply relax with a drink in the bar with sports TV, or on the terrace overlooking the 18th hole of the Spitfire course with excellent views of the hills and beyond.

The West Malling Ladies Open was held on the 4th August this year, with 25 teams opting to take part in the competition.

As the Spitfire course is suffering under the present conditions a number of West Malling ladies gave up their time to be ball spotters and I think this was much appreciated by the competitors!

The winners on the day were Tudor Park, 2nd place were Top Meadow and third were Nizels.

Well played everyone and we look forward to seeing you next year.
