Nothing like a bit of CPD when the area is a bit quieter. A nice calm paddle to White Nothe from Lulworth Cove for some lunch, and then a lumpy journey back which tested our personal kayaking skills to a nice level. Nothing like a bit of type 2 fun!

A very important message here in this story below.
Check wind direction, tide, and other weather conditions before going out on a journey, especially in open water that you're not familiar with. When out kayaking we often see holiday makers without buoyancy aids, paddling in conditions not suitable for their craft.
