Another brilliant few days at Don Coyote Outdoor Centre with groups putting their aim to the test!

From bullseyes in archery to steady hands on the .22 rifles and plenty of smashed clays flying through the air — there were plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and great shooting all round.

Who’s backing themselves as the sharpest shooter in the group? 👀

Turns out clay pigeons, targets, and bullseyes didn’t stand a chance this week at Don Coyote Outdoor Centre 🎯💥🏹

We’ve had some cracking groups up recently trying their hand at clay pigeon shooting, .22 rifle shooting and archery — with a few surprise sharpshooters appearing out of nowhere 👀

Kenzie, the original Don Coyote mascot, is busy making sure she’s looking her absolute best—because today she turns 11! 🎉

We can’t quite believe it. 11 years of loyalty, friendliness, and just the right amount of cheekiness (some things never change!). She’s been part of the centre since 2015 and still rules the place like she did as a pup.

Happy Birthday, Kenzie—we think you’ve earned a few extra treats today 🖤

We’ve added some shiny new signage at Don Coyote Outdoor Centre to help guide you in the right direction—because, believe it or not, there is a wrong one 😅

If you come in via Shiplaw, you’ll enjoy a nice, sensible drive straight into the centre. Easy. Civilised.

If you come in from Lamacha… well… you’ll get the full off-road experience: a steep climb, a bumpy track, a gate to hop out and open, and a cattle grid for good measure. Great if you’re testing a 4x4. Less great if you just wanted a relaxing day shooting clays.

To be fair, only a few brave (or slightly misdirected) souls have taken the scenic route—but we thought we’d save the rest of you the adventure 🤠

Check out the new signs in the photos and follow the Shiplaw way in. Your car will thank you.

We've had a fantastic mix of visitors joining us recently —some incredible archers showing off their precision and plenty of clay pigeon and rifle shooters bringing the energy out on the range.

It’s always great to see people of all skill levels getting involved, having a go, and enjoying the outdoors together.

We’ve been busy behind the scenes at Don Coyote Outdoor Center 🔧🎯

Here’s a look at some of the wiring work we’ve been doing to get our clay pigeon machines up, running, and repositioned. This upgrade is all about giving us more flexibility in our setup—so we can bring you more targets, more variety, and an even better shooting experience.

It might not be the flashiest part of the range, but this kind of work is what keeps everything running smoothly and safely.

We headed over to Bisley at Braidwood to restock on cartridges 🔄📦

While we were there, we couldn’t resist stopping by their café for some lunch — definitely worth it! 🍽️
