❤️❤️One final shout out has to go to our incredible instructor Emma!!!

From day one she put her heart and soul into setting up a safe space for myself and other people to come along, dance and have fun with absolutely 0 judgement!!

During the past 3 years there has been highs and lows, from sitting on a chair teaching during her brain injury to being nominated and making it to the final 3 for instructor of the year 2022!!

Emma’s wish when she started the class was to inspire people to move and enjoy it whilst they did and I think we can all agree that she certainly achieved that goal!!

As her sister, I can’t put into words how proud I am to have danced every step alongside her and that for one hour a week everyone has been able to experience her crazy side, the passion she has for dance but more importantly how much she makes a difference to everyone’s life she comes in contact with!

I firmly believe that our class would not have been as successful or more importantly enjoyable without her!!

So thank you Emma for being the best instructor, for not always being able to tell your right from your left, for picking songs that are “fast” and for always brightening our weeks!!!

You simply are the best ❤️❤️

A massive thank you to everyone who came tonight for our last class, for the kind messages, cards and gifts! You are all far too kind!

We had so much fun dancing our favourite dances and laughing along to our favourite songs, even all pulling out the perfect whisk in waltz for one last time!!!

It’s been an absolute pleasure every week to see you all laughing and enjoying yourself!

But for now, both myself and Emma wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year!!

‼️Tuesday 17th December is going to be our last Fitsteps class‼️

Please feel free to join us for one last time to dance your Tuesday worries away!! Whether you have been once, ten times or with us from the beginning we would love to see you one last time!!

We will be fitting as many of your favourite dances in to your favourite songs as well as some Christmas classics!!

We will be in Westbourne hall from 6:30pm and it’s just £5 cash payment per person!

‼️IMPORTANT MESSAGE‼️

Next week will be our FINAL FITSTEPS CLASS!!

As most of you know I moved to Australia in September, and my incredible sister Sarah has been continuing with the class each week since my move. However due to other work commitments, it’s just not possible for her to keep the class going next year, which means the last ever Fitsteps class will take place next Tuesday!!!

I started Fitsteps 3 years ago as I wanted to move more myself and inspire others to do the same. I always wanted to create a class that was fun, non judgmental and that encouraged people to step outside of their comfort zone, and I really hope that I’ve achieved that!!

I could never have imagined when I started the class how important those Tuesday nights would be to me! From watching genuine friendships form, to seeing people become more comfortable and enjoying themselves - I have honestly loved EVERY week!!

Thank you so much to everyone who has supported me over the last 3 years, and thank you to Sarah for always supporting me with it!! Whether you came only once, or whether you came every single week, it has meant the world to see you turn up and embrace the madness of our class!!

So if you’d like a LAST FITSTEPS session then join Sarah on Tuesday next week for a Christmas themed goodbye (and I’ll message you all if I move back from Australia to start it up again 😂).
