A little bit of life lately ❤️

Only home from holiday 10 days and we’ve packed in a competition (another proud coach moment watching 3x of my clients achieve so much more than they expected 🦋!) days out, Luke Combs and a Hen do in Somerset!!

Training is a bit all over the place at the moment.

We had two weeks away where I made absolutely no effort to train loads. I moved when I fancied it, ate and drank what I wanted, spent time with my family and properly enjoyed my holiday.

And I don’t regret that for a second.

But I’d also be lying if I said I’ve come home feeling completely comfortable in my own skin.

I haven’t.

My body feels different. My clothes feel different. I’m not feeling quite as confident in myself as I did before we went away.

Which is an interesting one, because at the same time, I’m actually performing really bloody well.

I’m strong. I’m fit. I’ve competed. My body is doing everything I’m asking of it.

And I think both things are allowed to be true.

I can appreciate what my body can DO and still have days where I don’t particularly love how it looks.

I can want to make some changes without suddenly needing to punish myself for enjoying a holiday.

And I can know, after 15+ years of doing this, that I don’t need to panic and throw myself into a diet and train seven days a week to get back to feeling more like myself.

Right now it’s the middle of the school holidays. Training is fitting in where it can around work, days out and being with my girls.

Some weeks are better than others.

And rather than constantly feeling like I need to “get back on track”, I’m trying to remember that this IS the track.

Sometimes you’re pushing. Sometimes you’re maintaining. Sometimes life gets more of your attention for a while.

None of it means you’ve failed or need to start again.

And I think that’s probably something worth talking about a bit more. ❤️

Today, some of team 360 took on The Yard Games Bluecoat Sports Club☀️💪

I honestly couldn’t be prouder of these three. Suzi, Emma and Chloe threw everything at it and never stopped digging in.

At the start of this year, we were running for no more than 60 seconds at a time.

Seven months later they were tackling an event packed 4x 400m runs, 20x 50kg deadlifts, 20x 16kg overhead press, 100x plate ground to overhead, 100x burpees, 4km of ergs (which was absolutely savage), 100m lunges and a 100m bear crawl to the finish. ☀️

None of this happened because they found a shortcut. It happened because they kept showing up. Week after week. Session after session. Even on the days they didn’t feel like it.

Seeing the belief and confidence growing and showing up today, makes my heart burst coaching these guys!

A huge well done to Suzi and Emma for absolutely smashing your race and to Chloe… what a teammate 💕

Days like today are the perfect reminder that progress isn’t built in one workout.

It’s built through consistency, support and surrounding yourself with people who make you want to keep turning up.

So proud of every single one of you. 🧡

Bluecoat Sports Club well done for organising such a great event, that track is AMAZING!

Then biggest thanks to all the staff and judges for being out in that heat and for not only being fantastic judges, but for being so encouraging and helpful too! 🙌🙌

You have the kindest heart, the biggest imagination, and the sweetest soul! Watching you grow from that tiny little girl into the incredible young lady you are becoming has been the greatest privilege of my life.

You made all my dreams come true the moment I held you in my arms and every day since then has been brighter because you are in it.

Happy birthday to my Mama ✨

I’ve never known anyone with the strength that you have.

These last few years have asked more of you than most people could ever imagine, yet somehow you continue to face each day with a courage and determination that blows me away.

Life has thrown everything it can at you and still you keep going with that stubborn strength that makes you who you are 💕

Watching what you’ve been through has been heartbreaking, but it has also shown me just how incredible you really are. Not because you’ve never been scared or struggled but because you’ve carried on despite it all.

Today isn’t about illness. It’s about celebrating you. Our mum, our GiGi and friend that so many people love so much.

I don’t take a single moment for granted. Every birthday, every phone call, every ‘Morning bubba, how are you today?’ text, every coffee catch up, every memory feels precious. (Even the trifle at Christmas!)

I love you so much and hope you have the best day despite everything 💕✨
