Two of ROFFEY KARATE CLUB’s new black belts Luke and Dave joining the line for the first time last night. Sadly a very small junior class last but a lot of fun, swords & Tameshiwari (breaking). A step up in grade for Aaron added to the enjoyment.
Plenty of focus and determination all round.

Thanks to kind donations from a couple of the parents of our Junior Students we were able to purchase three shopping bags of food for the Horsham Matters Foodbank. If any of you would like to donate in some way please let me know and hopefully we can coordinate it as a donation from our Karate Club.

Good luck to all our students who are awaiting their GCSE results today. There have been so many wonderful young people during our years at the club who have, through their hard work, achieved great things. I’m sure there will be more.

A small but incredibly focused class today. Great to have Sensei Bella training with us after the stress of A levels and sorting out her Uni place.
Well deserved success on both counts, Bella will be studying Fine Arts, we all wish her continued success.

One of those small end of school term classes. Not many students but a lot of fun and great to get Alex graded to Blue belt. He’s worked hard to get there and completed an excellent grading.

Last part of today’s Class practicing Suparinpei, Seinchin and Tensho Kata with these guys. Senseis Colin Jackson, Andrew Bosbery and Mads Vallestad. Made even better as it’s Sensei Mads Vallestad’s birthday today. We all wish him many happy returns of the day. Sensei Mads has been training and teaching with us since 2002 and like all the black belts contributes so much to the club and our students.
