Massive respect to Chew Valley veteran Tye, who dominated at the Tanto Submission Grappling event in Weston-super-Mare yesterday — submitting with a beautiful footlock for the win!

Tanto events showcase the best of intermediate to advanced Gi and NoGi Jiu Jitsu… and Tye represented in style.

Putting together combinations in BJJ takes time, patience and practice. Sparring or rolling at the end of the session is a great way to solidify what has been learnt.

Gi & No-Gi divisions will be contested under IBJJF rule set, though all belts from blue onwards will fight for 6 minutesAdults, Masters 1-4, Junior and Juveniles divisions are available.
