LESSONS CANCELLED 🚫

Unfortunately with the high winds it has caused a power cut at West Calder High School (WCHS) resulting in the pool levels being out of the safe operating range.

Apologies for the cancellation, I was only notified at 8.20 this morning. Lessons will roll onto the following week.

NO SWIMMING!

Unfortunately swimming is cancelled today due to a power cut in the early hours of the morning. This has resulted in unsafe pool temperatures and chlorine levels.

CHAMPION ALERT 🏆

Absolutely delighted for our young swimmer Adam who recently competed in the National Champion Irish Cup for Taekwondo 🥋

Adam went through 4 rounds in patterns and 4 rounds in sparring and at just 8 years old and has become a 2 x Gold Medal National Champion 🥇🥇

ABOUT:

Turtle Pack Swim Academy's mission is to become the biggest and best swim academy in the country where we offer the highest quality of fun-filled swimming lessons.

Turtle Pack Swim Academy West Lothian was set up in September 2018 and we now have over 180 swimmers in our program. The lessons run 40 weeks in the year at the new West Calder High School on a Saturday 09.00 to 13.00.

ROLE:

The position is rewarding and simple as your main job is to welcome the families into the school with enthusiasm.

5 hours paid work from 8.30 to 13.30. Payment of £5.00 per hour, higher than the national minimum wage of £4.62 for under 18 years.

Turtle Pack Swim Academy West Lothian was set up in September 2018 and we now have 240 swimmers in our program. The lessons run 40 weeks in the year at the new West Calder High School on a Saturday 09.00 to 14.00.

ROLE:

Excellent swim instructor who is willing to learn and improve their skills whilst they plan and manage their own classes from 9.00 to 14.00 on a Saturday.

Our team is friendly, hardworking and fun. Therefore we are looking for a similar individual to grow and improve our existing team.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Hold UKCC 2 or UKCC 1 / SSTQ teacher of swimming qualification
· Self-motivated and hardworking
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience in teaching children is essential and adults is desirable
·The successful candidate must hold or is willing to achieve a National rescue award, NPLQ or relevant lifesaving qualification
· Disclosure check must also be completed
· Basic computer knowledge and email access

Successful candidate is able to start on Saturday 15th January.
