West Calder Judo Club West Calder Judo Club is a non-profit making business and solely concentrates on getting people to learn and have fun at judo. Interested?

We aim to open the sport up to as many people as possible no matter the level of fitness or experience. Come along and try it for yourself as first night is FREE!!! Classes are as follows:

Monday and Wednesday:
7.30pm-8.30pm Junior Class
8.30pm-9.30pm Senior Class

Well what a great night tonight for our Christmas night at the judo! All the players did fab there was some fantastic judo! Well done to both Katelyn and Clinton who received our player of the year awards! Thank you so much to everyone for coming along! We hope all our players and their families have a lovely Christmas and new year!

West Calder Judo Club coach Stephanie Roulston was awarded JudoScotland’s Community Coach of the Year at their annual Coaching, Officiating and Volunteering Awards.

It’s great to see Stephanie's hard work being rewarded after being handed the club by John Callaghan after his retirement. Her determination and dedication to keep the club running through COVID, venue closure issues and her own illness and becoming a new Mummy has taken its toll a few times but she still has the drive to keep going with the help of Callum, players, parents and club volunteers.

Please join me in congratulating Stephanie on her award.
