💙🤍 Baggies skipper Jed Wallace is backing our ‘You ok, mate?’ campaign - reminding lads that men’s mental health matters.

⚽ Being part of a team doesn’t stop at the final whistle. Tackle the tough stuff, kick off those conversations.

🤝 Jed says: “We want your support in the stands, but don’t forget to check in with your mates too - they need your support as much as we do. If you’re struggling, reach out. Talking about your mental health is just as important as talking about the score line. Look out for each other, on and off the pitch.”

💬 The 'You ok, mate?' campaign is all about getting men in Sandwell talking. Too many men keep things bottled up, and we want to change that. Let’s break the stigma around men’s mental health and remind each other it’s always ok to reach out for support - the earlier, the better 💚

We welcomed Molly Woodward to The Hawthorns for our fixture at the weekend.

Molly is 102-years-old and still throws as much passion into the Albion as she has done her whole life.

We are excited to announce that Siobhan Michaels has joined our HerGameToo_WBA focus group as 𝓕𝓪𝓷 𝓐𝓭𝓿𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓮!

Siobhan is a WBA Men STH and has been all her life with her Dad, in Halfords Lane. Siobhan also supports our WBA Women and attends their matches when she can.

Siobhan’s first Albion match was at home against Villa, when she was just 7 months old. She doesn’t remember the game but needless to say, she was hooked from an early age and has experienced many memorable moments at the Hawthorns. This includes the 5-5 draw against Manchester United in 2013, when Sir Alex Ferguson was denied victory in his 1,500th and final game in charge of United, as Romelu Lukaku's hat-trick earned us a draw.

Siobhan joins myself - Vicky Haddock WBA HGT Ambassador; Holly Clifton, and Lizzie Hayward - WBA HGT Fan advocates; and a focus group of WBA fans with the aim of fostering an ethos in football in which women are welcomed, and respected equally, as; football-fans, footballers, and women who work within football. In particular we will bring the spotlight on the hard work of The Albion Foundation and West Bromwich Albion Women 💙🤍

We are excited to announce that Lizzie Hayward has joined our HerGameToo_WBA focus group as 𝓕𝓪𝓷 𝓐𝓭𝓿𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓮!

Lizzie is a WBA Men STH, sitting in the East Stand. Lizzie also occasionally attends WBA Women Home and WBA Men Away matches.

Lizzie’s first Albion match was at home to Norwich in 2000 and we lost 2-3. It saw a goal from Neil Clement and a penalty put away by Lee Hughes.

Lizzie joins myself - Vicky Haddock WBA HGT Ambassador, Holly Clifton - WBA HGT Fan advocate, and a focus group of WBA fans with the aim of fostering an ethos in football in which women are welcomed, and respected equally, as; football-fans, footballers, and women who work within football. We are excited to announce that Holly Clifton has joined our Her Game Too - WBA focus group as 𝓕𝓪𝓷 𝓐𝓭𝓿𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓮!

Holly is a WBA Men STH, sitting in the East Stand with her mom and 7 year old son. Holly also attends WBA Women games with her son who loves both the men and women’s teams!

Holly’s first Albion match was with her grandparents watching a 1-1 draw at home with Bury in division 3 in 1991... she was hooked!
