West Bridgford Legion CC We are West Bridgford Legion Cricket Club, established in 1947. We play and train at the historic West Park, on Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham.

Come join us! Welcome to the Play-Cricket site for West Bridgford Legion CC! We welcome players of any ability at the Legion. Whether you're looking to play competitive or friendly cricket, looking for a new challenge at a new club, looking to get back into cricket after an absence, or if you're just interested in having a go, our welcoming and sociable atmosphere will encourage you to embrace the

sport of cricket. Please note that we do not offer junior cricket, so advise a minimum age of 13. We are affiliated with the Gunn & Moore South Notts Cricket League, running two league teams and two social teams:

- The First XI, in SNCL Division G,
- The Second XI in SNCL Division K,
- The Friendly XI, which plays Sunday friendlies from early April to late September,
- The T20 XI, playing a few midweek games through the season. You can contact us via any of the following methods:

We very much welcome non-playing volunteers - umpires, scorer, spectators, sponsors. All inquiries welcome. During summer, feel free to come along to West Park for our nets, Mondays 5.30-7.30pm, introduce yourself and get involved! Outdoor nets are free and open to all. Alternatively, one of our teams will be playing at home every Saturday between May and August - come and say hi, we'll get the kettle on.

An Over to Remember from our very own media man, just pure ball striking.

Six deliveries, three massive sixes, and a complete shift in momentum as we took the attack to the bowlers in spectacular fashion. Sometimes all it takes is one over to change the feel of a game, and this was definitely one of those moments.

A fantastic weekend for the club with huge victories for both our 1st XI and 2nd XI

Two outstanding team performances, with everyone contributing to secure a pair of well-earned wins and plenty of reasons to celebrate.

Our Sunday XI had a touch outing against a strong team and unfortunately could not walk away with the win this time.

Three competitive games, plenty of great cricket, and lots of positives to take into the weeks ahead. Well done to everyone.
