šŸ’Ŗ ā€œIt’s simple, effective and fun.ā€ šŸ’Ŗ

That’s how John described training with me and his full story says it all šŸ‘‡

ā€œCameron was recommended to me by my wife's friend. I was at a point where I was training 3 or 4 times a week but stagnant and not seeing results.

Cameron first asked me some questions to establish where I was with my training, what goals I wanted to achieve and if there was a deadline. He has a few different training options including 1 to 1 training and training in small groups which I chose.

Despite having many clients, Cameron has an uncanny ability to remember what stage, weight level, personal preferences and temporary injuries each individual may have so he can tailor the plan to you as an individual.

Around half of the small group training focuses on weight training. The reason being that it's the easiest way to lose weight and benefits you now and into your elderly years. If you've never lifted weights before you start from as light as 1kg and gradually build up from there. If you're used to lifting weights Cameron will quickly be pushing you up to your limits and beyond as he's done with me.

After that there's a cardiovascular element to the training. The focus here being on supporting each other despite your level of fitness or experience, levelling up those with more with those with less ability so that everyone can train together and on keeping things interesting and having fun!

Despite training with Cameron for a year now I don't think I've ever had the same final exercise (finisher) twice!

If you're thinking of starting out, at any stage or age, or you're already training and need someone to push you out of your comfort zone and keep your body guessing, I highly recommend training with Cameron Mangan. It's simple, effective and fun.ā€

šŸ”„ What I love most about John’s story is that he came to me feeling stuck and now, he’s training harder, feeling stronger, and seeing results week after week.

Because when your training is structured properly, personalised, and enjoyable, progress becomes easy.

If you’re training hard but not seeing results, drop me a message and I'll make sure you get the results you want.

🌟 1 month. Three 10k races. Three incredible results. 🌟

In just one month, Caron has completed three 10k races, each one stronger than the last.

A few weekends ago, she ran the first 10k.
The following weekend, she went again and smashed her personal best for that course.
Then, just to top it all off, she ran a third 10k and finished with her overall personal best.

That alone is an amazing achievement.
But knowing Caron hasn’t had the easiest of years makes it even more inspiring.

The truth is: Caron has shown up every single week, no matter what.
She’s committed to her sessions.
She’s stayed consistent with her weight loss goals.

And she’s pushed herself further than she ever thought possible.

Her hard work has paid off, not just in her running times, but in the strength, confidence, and determination she’s built along the way.

šŸ’¬ What I love most is that it’s not just me who finds Caron inspiring, so many others in our group do too. She lifts everyone around her simply by showing what’s possible when you refuse to give up.
Caron, you should be incredibly proud of yourself. I know I am. šŸ‘

šŸ”„ From struggling to finish a single kilometre… to completing his first half-marathon AND dropping 50 pounds along the way. šŸ”„

When Robin started, running 1k without stopping felt really tough. Fast forward to now, he’s run 21 kilometres at an incredible pace, his first ever half-marathon event.

And it was in terrible conditions. On one of the hottest days of the year, he stood waiting 40 minutes in line for the bus as the event bus was late, then another 40 minutes in the pen before the race began, already drained, already low on water.

But Robin didn’t quit. He didn’t even slow down.
Because he had prepared for the worst. He put in the hours, stayed consistent, and built the resilience to handle whatever came his way.

šŸ’Ŗ Alongside his running, Robin has lost over 50 pounds, gained massive strength, and is getting compliment after compliment on how fast, fit, and strong he’s become.

And here’s what makes this even more special: his transformation hasn’t just changed him, it’s inspired his family too. They’ve come to his races, cheered him on, been motivated by what he’s achieved and run with him.

This is bigger than just one half-marathon.
It’s a story of commitment, strength, and proving that when you refuse to give up, the results can inspire everyone around you.

šŸ‘ Let’s give Robin the credit he deserves and get ready, because this is only the beginning. Bigger runs, faster times, and more milestones are coming.

When you hear a post like this you may think Robin or any one of my clients dont have busy lives, have good genetics or have some other reason that makes achieving this goal easy. However they don't, they just simply needed professional personal guidance to help them.

You could achieve your goals too!

✨ Strong and starting a new chapter. ✨

When Suzanne first came to me, she said, ā€œI want to feel better for my wedding.ā€ At the time, her focus was just one day. One dress. One moment.

But the journey changed her in ways she didn’t expect.

She lost weight.
She grew stronger.
She built habits that lasted.
She found confidence that touched every part of her life.

On her wedding day, she wasn’t only a bride in a dress, she was a woman stepping into her future with belief, joy, and pride. šŸ’

And now? She isn’t slowing down. Suzanne’s determined to keep improving, to push herself further, and to continue building on everything she’s achieved long after the big day.

šŸ“ø This isn’t just a wedding photo. It’s a symbol of what happens when you decide to put yourself first.

šŸ’¬ What’s the next chapter you want to step into with confidence?

šŸŽ„ Christmas is Coming… and So Are the Parties!

In just a few months, the invites will start coming in, work nights out, Christmas dinners, New Year’s celebrations.

And here’s the thing: you deserve to feel good when you walk into that room.

šŸ’ƒ Confident enough to finally wear that dress you’ve had tucked away for years.

🤵 Comfortable enough to button up that suit and feel proud of the person staring back at you in the mirror.

✨ Free to enjoy the night without worrying what anyone thinks.

That’s what I help people with, not just losing a bit of weight or getting fitter, but feeling completely at ease in their own skin so they can focus on having a great time with the people who matter most.

If you’d love to go into this Christmas feeling your absolute best, now is the perfect time to start.

The small steps you take now can mean walking into that first party with total confidence and surprising yourself with how far you’ve come.

Drop me a message if you’re ready to make this Christmas the one where you feel amazing.

🌱 Every Choice Shapes Your Life

One thing I think about a lot is how every action we’ve taken has led us to this exact moment: the job we have, the friends around us, the hobbies we love, even the house we live in.

When I look back on my own life, I can see how the choices I made as a teenager, as a young adult, even last year, have all stacked up to put me where I am today.

Some choices have been great, like saying yes to races and events. Those decisions have given me memories I’ll tell my kids and grandkids one day, healthier habits, stronger mind and achievements that will stay with me for life.

But there are always trade-offs. Pushing myself physically sometimes means picking up the odd injury or ni**le. Training for big goals can mean giving up a bit of weekend downtime.

And that’s true for all of us, not just in fitness, but in every part of life. The efforts you put into school affects the opportunities you get later on. The habits you stick to (or don’t) shape where you are today.

And here’s the exciting bit: the actions you take from today forward are shaping your future. Your health, your career, your relationships — they’re all in motion right now, and you have a say in where they’re heading.
That’s something I remind myself of often: I can’t change my past, but I can make better choices for the future I want.
What’s one action you could take this week that your future self would thank you for?

šŸ€ Back to where it all started

When I was a teenager, I spent countless hours playing basketball. It was the first sport that really got me into fitness, just me, my pals, and a ball until it was too dark to keep going.

So getting the chance to play again on holiday was brilliant. It instantly brought back memories and reminded me why I loved it so much.

It’s also a good reminder that keeping fit doesn’t always have to mean the gym or strict workouts.

Sometimes it’s about finding something you genuinely enjoy and making time for it.

Basketball will always have a place in my heart. 🧔

What about you, what sport or activity takes you back to your younger years every time you do it?

šŸ… From ā€œI could never run a half marathonā€ → to 2 hours 16 minutes on the clock!

When Gayle set her sights on the Great North Run, her goal was simple: just finish, if possible maybe around 2:45. But I knew she had more in her. I believed in her from day one… and she proved it with an incredible 2:16 finish time. šŸ™ŒšŸ¼

Here’s the thing, Gayle isn’t a professional athlete. She’s a normal, relatable person. She works a tough job, juggles a busy family life, keeps up a social life… and still found the time and energy to commit to her training.
That’s why her story hits home: it shows that this could be you.

She didn’t just complete it, she enjoyed it. She got caught up in the buzz, the atmosphere, the achievement… so much so that she’s already signed up for her next half marathon.
On top of that, she’s helped raise over Ā£27k for Alice’s Arc, alongside 111 other runners at the GRN. That’s making a difference far beyond fitness.

šŸ‘šŸ¼ You’ve shown what’s possible when you believe in yourself. We are all so proud of you.

Over 2 stone down in just a few months.

No crash diets. No brutal restrictions.
Just a someone who decided he was tired of feeling stuck.

Robert came to me knowing he had to make a change.

He works in a job that demands fitness — but he didn’t feel fit.
His energy was low.
Weight creeping up.
And mentally? It was weighing on him more than he admitted at first.

Now?

āœ… Over 2 stone lighter
āœ… So much fitter — physically and mentally
āœ… New healthy habits built into his day-to-day life
āœ… Performing better in his job — and actually enjoying training again

That’s the power of doing it properly.
No cookie-cutter plans.
No ā€œall or nothing.ā€
Just consistent, smart coaching — with real accountability.

If you're someone who feels like:

– You've lost control of your weight
– Your job requires you to be fit, but you’re not where you need to be
– You know what to do, but you’re not doing it
– Or you’ve got into that ā€œcomfortable but unhappyā€ place…

You don’t have to stay there.

PT isn’t just about reps and sets — it’s about momentum.
Once you’ve got that? The rest follows.

Drop me a message.
Let’s make your version of this happen.

How Jordan went from no direction and no pull-ups to strong, lean, and wedding-ready

Before Jordan joined my coaching, he didn’t really have a plan.
He wanted to get leaner, stronger, and healthier for his wedding
But he didn’t know where to start
Nothing he’d done before ever really stuck

As a result, he was spinning his wheels
Training with no real structure
Not feeling confident in his body
And unsure how to make lasting changes

But instead of staying stuck
Jordan made the decision to reach out after I was recommended to him

And if you’ve ever been told to work with me
There’s usually a reason for it, I can help you.

Jordan’s goal was simple

To lose weight and build lean muscle for his big day
To feel proud of how he looked and how he moved
And to get fit enough to enjoy life, not just push through it

So we built a plan around his life
Not instead of it

He still had weekends away
He still had nights out and days with friends
But now there was structure underneath it all
Real, sustainable habits that worked with him
Not against him

Fast forward to now
Jordan’s hit his lowest weigh-in in years
He can run 5km with ease
He’s doing sets of pull-ups with ease
Pressing 30kg dumbbells
Squatting 100kg
And deadlifting 100kg for reps

He even smashed 40 press-ups on his stag do when he was challenged
Everyone noticed
And he felt it too

Jordan wasn’t special
He didn’t have crazy genetics or unlimited time

He just backed himself
Got the right support
And built a version of himself he’s proud of

If you’re feeling stuck
Lacking structure
Or want to finally feel strong and in control, just reach out

Drop me a message if I've ever been recommended to you. šŸ’¬

The truth is mounjaro can help make the scale go down

But weight loss doesn’t always equal health

Or confidence

Or strength

If you have to inject something into your body every week just to feel okay about your weight

Then you’re not in control

The drug is

And when you stop taking it

The weight often comes back

Sometimes faster than before

I’ve coached people who lost weight the long way

And they kept it off

Because they understood their habits

They knew how to eat and move

And they didn’t rely on willpower or injections

They felt proud of what they built

And it showed

You don’t need to punish your body to lose weight

You need to support it

Fuel it

Move it

And trust it again

That’s how you make change that lasts

DAY 4: Why People Want It (And Why I Really Get It)

Most people don’t turn to drugs like Mounjaro because they’re lazy

They turn to it because they’re tired

Tired of trying everything and still not getting anywhere
Tired of feeling like every meal is a battle
Tired of looking in the mirror and picking themselves apart

I know that feeling
Because I used to do the same thing
I thought if I just ate less
If I just got smaller
Then maybe I’d feel better about myself

I ended up on super restrictive diets
Scared of certain foods
Obsessed with ā€œbeing goodā€

Eventually I had to get help from an NHS nutritionist
Because my relationship with food and my body was in such a bad place

So when I see people turning to weight loss drugs
I don’t judge them
I understand

Because when nothing feels like it’s working
A quick fix sounds like hope

But it doesn’t fix the root
It doesn’t fix how you see yourself
It doesn’t fix the stress around food
Or the fear of failure

It’s not your fault if you’re stuck
You just haven’t had the right kind of support yet

And that’s what actually makes the difference
Not injections
Not punishment
Just finally learning how to take care of yourself in a way that lasts
