Truth bombs… 👇🏼

1️⃣ You’re not tired because you’re busy you’re tired because you eat like your toddler. Coffee for breakfast, salad for lunch, binging on snacks before dinner 😩

2️⃣ You don’t look like you work out because you’re not training, you’re just exercising. There is a big difference trust me! HIIT, spin, cardio they burn calories, but they don’t build shape.

3️⃣ What worked in your 20’s when you didn’t have kids or a busy lifestyle like you do now won’t work for you in your 30’s and 40’s. You’re not doing everything wrong you’re just doing the wrong things for this time in your life!

You don’t need to do more. You need to do it differently.

4️⃣ You’re not gaining fat because of carbs you’re gaining it because you keep cutting them! Every time you restrict, you binge harder later. Carbs regulate your hormones, fuel your lifts, and build the body you actually want 💪🏼

5️⃣ You’re stuck because you’re inconsistent and you’re inconsistent because your plan is unsustainable. Your routine fits your best week, not your real life 💯

6️⃣ You’re not gaining fat from weekends you’re gaining it from the guilt that follows them. One night out won’t ruin progress. The ‘f**k it’ attitude that follows will.

7️⃣ Your body isn’t the problem, your expectations are. You are expecting to undo years of weight gain overnight. You need to be in it for the long game. Stop thinking about crash diets and quick fixes!

8️⃣ Your metabolism isn’t broken you’re routine is. Skipping meals, eating low protein, and endless cardio are slowing it down.

Having a plan will get you the results you want much faster so stop waiting for the perfect time and get yourself a coach (like me haha) to help you and keep you accountable 🫶🏼

Two different ways of living at 40
Neither woman has bundles of ‘free time’

One woman is feeling her best, she wakes up feeling energised, she feels strong within her body, she follows her daily habits which feel good and lives her life aligned to the person she wants to become 💪🏼

8 week cut - 6 weeks down 💪🏼

I can’t believe we only have 2 weeks to go!

I made the choice to lock in for 8 weeks to see what I could achieve before my confidence shoot with Matt Draper 💪🏼

And as promised I am sharing my journey after a 6 month muscle building phase.

I have been in a mini cut where the goal is to reveal more muscle 🙏🏼

These past 6 weeks have flown! And thankfully all gone to plan

I now have a few social occasions to tackle before shoot day, typical that we have so much on these next 2 weeks 😅

I’ve been super consistent in all areas- training, nutrition and movement and I’m super pleased with my results so far👇🏼

✨ 3kg down
✨ More muscle definition on my legs
✨ Strength in the gym is still good even with less calories
✨ High energy levels!

What am I doing to see results 👇🏼

🚀 Training- no changes to what I always do. 4 strength sessions a week split into pull, push, glute/hamstrings and quads.
🚀 15-16k daily step goal (increased by 3k)
🚀 Calories currently sitting at 2300 (500 lower than my build calories)
🚀 Nutrition is clean, still having my end of day yoghurt bowl with dark chocolate and biscoff and that keeps me going tbh 😅
🚀 So far I have avoided alcohol as a choice so I stay focused on the goal!

After feeling stuck for years while navigating the menopause

Caron felt broken!

She has now lost over 10kg since starting with Bodyblitz 💪🏼

How did she do it?

No, it wasn’t a meal plan.

Or the calorie target.

Or the workout programme.

Sure, those things helped!

But the real reason Caron was able to completely transform her body is because she worked on her habits first 🚀

In fact, it was these exact habits that helped her lose her 10kg and feel more confident than ever before.

1️⃣ Planned for the week ahead every week.
At BBWD, we call this the “Power Hour”. It doesn’t actually have to be an hour, it could be 10 minutes to review the week ahead and lock in when and how you’ll tick off your non negotiables (prep food, train, hit your steps), as well as do the stuff life demands, kids, work, family, friends, etc! This massively reduces overwhelm and makes you super organised 🚀

2️⃣ Meal plan and prep
She decided exactly what she’d have for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. This included meals out, food on the go, and drinks with friends. She didn’t spend hours in the kitchen as this didn’t suit her busy demanding lifestyle but we still made a plan of action and kept nutrition SIMPLE!!!

3️⃣ Locked in her training sessions like appointments.
Not just picking the day but committing to a time, putting it in her diary and showing up for herself, no matter what.

4️⃣ Tracked her calories at the start of the day.
Instead of logging food after eating, she logged everything in the morning and treated My Fitness Pal like a menu, not a journal. This left no room for error, guessing or “I’ll just see what I fancy,” it also removed decision fatigue!

5️⃣ Took her water bottle everywhere.
Having her water bottle in the car, at her desk, and in her bag meant she stayed hydrated without even thinking about it 👌🏼

When it comes to changing your life, it’s never about the calorie target or plan alone.

You don’t rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems 🙌🏼

Caron built systems that made her success inevitable.
