After feeling stuck for years while navigating the menopause
Caron felt broken!
She has now lost over 10kg since starting with Bodyblitz 💪🏼
How did she do it?
No, it wasn’t a meal plan.
Or the calorie target.
Or the workout programme.
Sure, those things helped!
But the real reason Caron was able to completely transform her body is because she worked on her habits first 🚀
In fact, it was these exact habits that helped her lose her 10kg and feel more confident than ever before.
1️⃣ Planned for the week ahead every week.
At BBWD, we call this the “Power Hour”. It doesn’t actually have to be an hour, it could be 10 minutes to review the week ahead and lock in when and how you’ll tick off your non negotiables (prep food, train, hit your steps), as well as do the stuff life demands, kids, work, family, friends, etc! This massively reduces overwhelm and makes you super organised 🚀
2️⃣ Meal plan and prep
She decided exactly what she’d have for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. This included meals out, food on the go, and drinks with friends. She didn’t spend hours in the kitchen as this didn’t suit her busy demanding lifestyle but we still made a plan of action and kept nutrition SIMPLE!!!
3️⃣ Locked in her training sessions like appointments.
Not just picking the day but committing to a time, putting it in her diary and showing up for herself, no matter what.
4️⃣ Tracked her calories at the start of the day.
Instead of logging food after eating, she logged everything in the morning and treated My Fitness Pal like a menu, not a journal. This left no room for error, guessing or “I’ll just see what I fancy,” it also removed decision fatigue!
5️⃣ Took her water bottle everywhere.
Having her water bottle in the car, at her desk, and in her bag meant she stayed hydrated without even thinking about it 👌🏼
When it comes to changing your life, it’s never about the calorie target or plan alone.
You don’t rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems 🙌🏼
Caron built systems that made her success inevitable.
