my name is sarah (Roberts) Tomkins, i have many years of experience starting on breaking yards at 14years old and worked for Andrew Heffernan and Dave Quigley, i then worked for Ran Arbel for 3yrs as head girl producing top quality young horses and after that went to Westpoint stud to learn AI in the summer and breaking and producing young stock in the winter. after having my daughter i started working from home doing freelance riding and teaching and progressed to having more horses in at home for schooling, sales and competition and i still love every minute of it. i have competed up to CCI 3*L/ Advanced AND WOULD REALLY LIKE TO PROGRESS FURTHER. I am a holder of the prestigious pc 'A' test and pride myself in working with my horses professionally and in complete harmony, treating each horse to its own, I have found myself taking on many problem horses over the years all of which have settled very well in our environment and made complete turn arounds in their training.

chillington Hall with Mary Moberly’s Mosstown Luna in the sponsored BE90, so close yet so far in a large section, an improving dressage of 27 going into 5th, unfortunate slip and loss of hind quarters on the approach to the last SJ resulting in 4flts finished with a confident clr XC to leave us respectabley just outside the top 10, High-five to top groom Maddie

BEEANDBEE is 👀 for a new 🏠

Difficult decisions being made but we need to cut down and have a move around as life takes a change of routine

Foxy is an 11yo 15.2 chestnut mare Full TB and eligible for ROR but only raced twice so clean limbed

We have had Foxy since a 5yo she was produced to event and Millie took her on as her first horse age 13 and did Pony club and camp ect

She has been placed BE and competed BE100 but limited due to time and finances

Foxy has BS to 1.05 with clears and was on the podium at BD petplan regionals

Foxy has unfortunately been picked up and put down like all my horses it is no fault of her just time and money but recently back in work and 3 out of 4 clears showjumping inc 2 wins and BS clears

Good to hack and easy to do, she’s not a dope but she’s not a crazy red head

Amazing little horse for someone on a limited budget, we will 100% want to stay in contact and follow her in her journey

Saturday of Burghley XC done well, yard complete and home to watch Burghley XC and of course Team Owen Eventing compete another 5* clear, whilst remenising on jumping big sticks what seems like so long ago. Today was a big day 🙈 I am back on the school run around, time flies when your having fun 🤩

It may take a little time to adjust but for now I will have a Wednesday for child free teaching at my base

Millie is available for winter schooling of ponies for those families struggling to get the children on board mid week, pop over to Hillside and Millie can ride them for you when suits you best

I am happy to ride your horse either freelance or come on over for an hour in the day time

All stables are FULL

With my limited afternoons for coaching it will sadly be a first come first served basis, but I will post if any other availability arrises

Foxy 🦊 was the 🌟 of the show today after registering her on Wednesday eve she jumped a her 3rd clr round of the week in the British novice at Weston Lawns BS
Millie, Kim and I didn’t have the desired clear rounds but we certainly had a confidence boost, quickie came out fresh and sneezed on 2 vertices in a technical 95 and a few faults picked up a few faults in a large technical 1.05 memorial cup class, I nearly didn’t do it 🙈 BUT we jumped our first ever water tray and treble and is giving me some awesome air time with an improving technique so I’m chuffed.
Duke and millie spat at 1 verticethe in the 1.05 and then jumped their first 1.10 in 2 years so nerves a little on edge they tapped two vertices but millie had gained a huge amount of confidence and given herself a good old adrenaline buzz now knowing Dukes has still got it in him haha
All in all a pretty successful day
