Wells Tennis Club Wells Tennis Club offers fun and competitive tennis for every age and player in the heart of Wells So why not come along and meet us?

Wells Tennis Club has over 200 members and is currently the second largest tennis club in Somerset. The Club has five all-weather courts, all with floodlights, two Mini-tennis courts, practice wall, and a new purpose built club house with kitchen and changing facilities. Three courts were resurfaced in 2003, and two courts have been rebuilt in 2004. The Club caters for all ages and standards - fro

m the ambitious and committed league players to those who prefer a more relaxed social approach. Wells Tennis Club is a friendly club and makes a great deal of effort to look after its members. Exciting times at Wells! Thanks to the generosity of Wells City Football Club we now have more meters squared for our beautiful clubhouse. Yesterday saw the crane come in and move the football storage units to give us much needed space.

Thanks to the football club but also Andy Scott, Kevin Durney and Jon Browne for their hard work and persistence to get this stage over the finish line. SUNDAY 12th JULY : WIMBLEDON FINALS DAY

With Wimbledon just about to start, at Wells Tennis Club we like to get into the spirit of things!

To mark the final day of Wimbledon fortnight (12th July), we plan to have a picnic lunch at the clubhouse after Sunday morning social tennis, (which runs from 10.00 - 12noon.)

All club members are welcome, even if you're not playing tennis. If you are coming along, please bring a plate of food to share. Wine, Pimms, beer and soft drinks will be provided.

Is your child missing a fleece from North Face? Zara joggers and top? Nike hoodies? A SuperDry jumper? PLEASE check the lost property box in the clubhouse. It’s overflowing and will be emptied next Saturday, but with such quality items there is a chance of heart break if you don’t check ASAP.
