A friendly and vibrant community run hockey club based in Wells, Somerset. With 2 Mens teams and 2 Ladies teams, MSHC offer hockey for all ages and abilities, alongside a buzzing social calendar. Tough Saturday for the club, but plenty of positives to take 💪

Ladies 1s battled hard but fell 3-0.
Men’s 1s put on a thriller in a 3-3 draw — two for .chapman 🔥 and one from 👏
Ladies 2s fought until the end with Louise Garner getting on the scoresheet 💥
Men’s 2s saw Andy Carter grab their goal in a 5-1 result.

Tough results across the board this Saturday, but plenty of grit and fight shown in every game 💪

Ladies 1s with a tight loss, with goals from and .mathers giving us a 2-0 leg up before unfortunately falling 3-2 by the final whistle.

Mens 1s also pushed hard in a 4-2 loss, with .chapman and getting on the scoresheet.

A tough scoreline for the Ladies 2s, but huge credit to them for holding it at 0-0 until just before halftime and never letting heads drop 👏

Mens 2s went down 3-2, with Marcus Doig and Richard Greaves scoring, and with just 10 players – the effort was unreal.

Special shoutout to both 2s teams for battling it out a player down all game – proper commitment 🔥

Tough Saturday on the pitch, but plenty of fight across the club 💪🏑

Results – 7th March

Ladies 1s fell to a 4–1 loss, with getting on the scoresheet for us.

Men’s 1s also finished 4–1, with finding the goal.

Huge effort from our Ladies 2s, who battled to a 1–1 draw with only 10 players 👏 A brilliant shift from the whole team, with scoring our goal.

Men’s 2s had a tough afternoon, finishing with a 5–0 result.

Not the results we hoped for overall, but plenty of determination and team spirit shown across the sides. We go again tomorrow! 🔴🟡
