When Archery GB released their British Sign Language resources for archery, the Young Archers' team at Wells City Archers saw an opportunity for a fun session.

We are VERY proud to announce that, for the second year in a row, The Somerset County Postal Competition has seen a clean sweep of all the leagues with Wells City Archers winning both the senior and junior Portsmouth and Frostbite competitions! This is only the the second time this has happened in the whole competition... and we did it the first time too! Bragging rights duly activated - WELL DONE US!!!

Wells City Archers is taking part in Start Archery Week which is a national archery initiative.

Sign up for a one-hour taster session – which introduces you to the basics of archery with a bit of scoring and a game or two. This is a great way to discover just how much you love archery.

Last week, our Young Archers turned the tables on the coaches and took charge! The coaching team became archers and the young archers became coaches! A really fun session that showed just how much the young archers have learned.

Wells City Archers already has a fabulous coaching team - offering training to beginners and club members.

As of today the club has two more Development Coaches (Level 2) as Steve and Kevin achieved their new qualification.

We took part (en masse) in the Somerset Indoor Championships at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre on Sunday 9th November, and not only did we have the largest club turnout, we brought home the most bling! Huge congratulations to all of our amazing winners!!
