This coming Sunday sees us hosting the Bath Rugby girls participation hub.

Cakes 🍰 snacks 🍩 and drinks 🫖☕ will be available to purchase in the clubhouse for any parents/friends who are staying with us for the day.

A huge congratulations Maisy, Poppy, Lizzie and Lilija who played for Somerset U16s yesterday against Dorset & Wilts. Some great play from the girls, and it was fantastic to see our girls representing Wells RFC 🖤⚪🖤
Sadly, Addie was sidelined with a fractured finger but supported as water girl 💧

What a great game on Sunday as our U16s travelled to Frome to play old friends, Walcat Girls
Luckily the weather held out and the pitch was great.
Walcats took the lead with an early try and looked strong but Wells managed to keep them at bay and score a try of their own .
Straight after the break Wells conceded again looking a little out of sorts but soon rallied again for try number two.
Both teams managed a third try and it was Wells' full back Addy that clinched the win with the final kick of the game.
Final score 17-19
The game was very evenly matched and played in great spirit by both teams.

If you are going to be near Frome this Sunday, why not go along and support our U16s who are away to Walcat Girls? KO 2pm - it'll be a great game!

The U16s are always welcoming new players - training is on Tuesdays 7-8pm (Blue School astro) until March when it'll be Wednesdays 7 - 8.30pm at the club.

Training days: Jan - Mar on Thursdays 8 - 9pm Blue School Astro
March onwards on Mondays 7.15 - 8.45pm at Wells RFC club pitches.
Come along and try it out - it might be the best thing you have ever done!
