Sunday’s Player of the Match was our youngest player, Reuben! 👏

Reuben has wanted to play for Wookey Hole for so long, but he’s finally reached the age where he can join the team — and what a way to start! 🙌

He took a crucial wicket in the middle overs, finished the batting innings not out, and was absolutely superb in the field, diving around and stopping everything that came his way! 🔥

A brilliant all-round performance from Reuben, and we can’t wait to see plenty more of him in a Wookey Hole shirt next season! 💚🏏

Incredibly well deserved win on Sunday against Street cricket club, we won the game by 3 runs in the final over with Libby and Dexter getting the runout to win the game!

Last week our player of the match went to this young lad who bowled incredibly well, putting the Allerton batters under pressure from the start. His biggest moment came when he picked up the wicket of their opening batter, who had gone on to make 90-odd runs — a massive wicket at an important time. 👏

He then came out to bat and showed great composure, running really well between the wickets and keeping the scoreboard moving.
