Pool Session Update

Just a heads-up that there will be no pool sessions over the Easter half-term break:

🚫 Friday 3rd April - No session
🚫 Friday 10th April - No session

We'll be back as normal on Friday 17th April - doors open at 8pm, pool entry at 8:30pm.

Thanks to everyone who came along to our first pool session back after the Christmas break.
It was great to see so many new faces alongside our regulars. We hope you enjoyed getting on the water.

Pool sessions continue every Friday evening at Wellington Sports Centre from 8.15pm. All ages and abilities are welcome, whether you want to learn new skills, have some fun, or try your hand at polo.
If you couldn't make it this week, there's always next Friday. All equipment is provided and no experience is needed.

WE'RE BACK!

Wellington Kayak Club pool sessions return after the Christmas break on Friday, 9th January at Wellington Sports Centre.

Sessions run every Friday evening from 8.15pm. Time for practising skills, messing about on the water, or playing games (great for the kids), followed by friendly polo games. All ages are welcome.

Details:
£8 per adult
All equipment provided
Suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers
Open to anyone interested in kayaking
New paddlers are welcome!

If you're considering joining or want to see what club kayaking involves, come along and give it a try - it's a great way to have fun and get fit.
We run river trips every Sunday from September to March when conditions allow on local Devon rivers.

Club Trip - Lower Barle - Sunday 30th November

Nine club members made the most of good water levels on Sunday for a Lower Barle session. Here are some photos of the weir near Dulverton.

Ever wanted to try kayaking?

Wellington Kayak Club runs pool sessions every Friday evening at Wellington Sports Centre, 8:15pm-9:15pm.
Whether you're completely new or looking to practice skills, adults, kids, and families are all welcome. We provide all equipment and can show you the basics in a warm pool environment.

Sessions are followed by friendly kayak polo games.
£8 adults / £4 children
Message us if you're interested so we can plan numbers.

Wellington kayak club is open to all ages and abilities.
Pool sessions are Fridays at 8.30pm.
During river season trips are run on Sundays.

It's the WKC's AGM next Friday, the 11th , to be held in the Sports Centre's meeting room at 7.30pm.

Please come along to lend an ear to what we are proposing to do and then have a paddle in the pool as normal!

Slight change, due to the change over with the Swimming Club, from this Friday (13th) we will be returning to our old time slot of 8.30pm-10.30pm.

We will meet at 8.15 to get the kit in.

WE ARE BACK!

With the pool open again, we can restart our friday night pool sessions! First one will be this week on Friday 6th.

Slight difference in times now:
First session - 8pm until 8.45pm
Second session (polo) 8.45pm until 9.30pm

We will start getting the kit in from 7.45pm, any help would be appreciated.
