We welcome

students from age 5 up to adult. Families are encouraged to join and train together. We try and focus on giving the children a fun and enjoyable training session with plenty of variation that will develop their skills such as confidence, discipline, concentration and self awareness. They will also make lots of new friends and improve their social skills! For adults, Karate is obviously useful as a form of self defense, but is also excellent for fitness and mental agility. Above all, Karate is great fun! There are various styles of Karate and Shotokan is the most widely practiced style in the world. We have a grading scheme in place with the KUGB who are the single largest Martial Arts organization in the UK. Every three months, students that are deemed ready by Court Fields Karate Academy are assessed for their next belt by the KUGB's chief examiner, Sensei Andy Sherry, 9th Dan.
