Sacha, Darrell & Shannon enjoyed the day at Lords Thursday where they attended the inaugural Knight-Stokes State School National Finals Day 🙌🙌

16 Shropshire schools were a part of this new national competition, and although not making it to the finals, feedback has been super positive !!

It was amazing to see Rutvi Shah scoring for the girls final. As a Shropshire Scorer, she is making everyone at Cricket Shropshire very proud as she advances on her officiating journey 🫶

U17s Shropshire Cup Final 🏆

We saw Quatt Cricket Club vs Whitchurch Cricket Club at Wroxeter & Uppington CC on Sunday 6th September with winners Quatt CC winning by 50-run victory.

This is the first time this competition has been played after interest shown by clubs suggesting demand for the competition.

Competition organiser Shannon Aston wishes to congratulate Quatt on the win and give a huge well done to Whitchurch on making the final. Also gives a big thank you to all the teams who entered this year and for embracing the competition.

Thanks to Wroxeter for hosting the final, to the two umpires Ray Collins and Neil Marsh and well done to Bertie Kyte for Player of the Match. 🙌

And please note, the awards date is Wednesday October 14, apologies for any confusion.
So get nominating, details below!

🏏🏏 A reminder from S**O, clubs and players can show appreciation for their umpire and/or scorer and nominate them for an officials award, whether it be Best Scorer, Club Umpire, Best New Official or Most Supportive Umpire or Scorer.
Awards night on October 14 at St Georges CC, club officials welcomed to attend but need to book with Andy Johnson.

🏏🏏 It's our first ever U17s T20 final on Sunday as the sides from Quatt Cricket Club and Whitchurch Cricket Club meet at Wroxeter and Uppington Cricket Club (11am).
Our new U17s competition has been a big success – we're looking forward to organising it again in 2027.
