It was Dad Alan who entered the last race at the MOPARs, but it wasn’t meant to be for the team that weekend.

This time around it’s Ford entering and he holds the car’s PB with a stellar 7.31 & 178mph!

It will be great to see just what the team can do and how far they can go in Nostalgia Cannonball competition at the NSRA Hot Rod Drags to close-out the 2026 racing season. 🏁

ROBIN READ has officially entered the NSRA HOT ROD DRAGS at Santa Pod Raceway in 2 weeks’ time. He will be running “The Little Car” - a Nostalgia Rear-Engined Dragster powered by a nitro-burning 2.5 Daimler! 👀

Robin and the gang are coming off a WIN at the 32nd Annual MOPAR Euro Nationals where Robin beat Mark Luton in the final round to take home the trophy.

The trophy was a truly-deserved accolade as Robin and the team had “the little car” running on MEAN all-weekend-long!

Robin also finished runner-up at the race prior to the MOPARS, Dragstalgia, where there were 19 cars in competition!

2026 has been a really good year for Robin Read Racing and they most certainly could walk away with the final trophy of the year in two weeks’ time! 🏆

ANDREW RAW in THE “NITRO BUG” Outlaw Nostalgia Nitro Funny Car has officially entered the NOSTALGIA INVITATIONAL at the FIA EUROPEAN FINALS at Santa Pod Raceway next week.

Andrew and the team haven’t been out on track since Dragstalgia back at the end of June, so no doubt they are abilities itching to get the wheels turning once again on a car that dipped-down in to the 5.80s at the last Invitational at the FIA Main Event back at the end of May!

Andrew will be one of four invited from the Nostalgia Cannonball class to exhibit just what the NC is all about in front of a packed house at the FIA European Finals.

ADAM CLAYTON has officially entered the NSRA HOT ROD DRAGS at Santa Pod Raceway in his “FIRECRACKER” Fuel Altered next month!

The team are yet again coming off a weekend in which they reset Adam’s personal best elapsed time at the MOPARs with a stellar 6.415-second quarter mile - still off the throttle and chutes out just before the finish line!

Obvious signs of progression coming from the team in that the MOPARs was the third race of the year and third consecutive race where Adam’s PB E.T. was reset.

Well done all involved and we cannot wait to see what the Firecracker team have in store at the NSRA Hot Rod Drags!
