Sometimes it’s not about the scales.

It’s about having the confidence to do something you’ve never felt comfortable doing before! 👌🏾

Another weekend, another event …

This weekend was a Hyrox sim with Justin …Mixed Doubles 😮‍💨 this time.

These events are always a great reminder that fitness isn’t about being perfect — it’s about challenging yourself, learning where your strengths are and discovering what you can improve.

The best part though? The community vibe, having fun, getting stuck in and coming away feeling proud of what you’ve achieved 💜

Whether it’s a Hyrox, couch to 5k, CrossFit comp…….or simply feeling fitter and stronger in everyday life 💪🏽, having a goal can be a great motivator.

💥 JUMPING JUNE 💥

This month’s challenge is all about getting the heart rate up and adding a little extra movement into your day 👏

Every day in June:

✔️ 10 Jumping Jacks
✔️ 10 Jumping Squats
✔️ 10 Jumping Lunges

No equipment needed 💪

Can be done at home, in the garden, on holiday, before work, after work… wherever and whenever suits you 👌

It shouldn’t take more than a few minutes, but if you fancy a bigger challenge, repeat it a few times and see how many rounds you can do 😅

As always, let’s keep each other accountable and motivated throughout the month 💜

PLANK A DAY IN MAY 💪

This month’s challenge is simple… complete a plank every day throughout May

Aim for 1 minute a day by the end of the month

BUT start where you are….

20 seconds? Brilliant.
On your knees? Absolutely fine.
Want more of a challenge? Add side planks, up-downs or variations

The goal isn’t perfection — it’s consistency 💜

Planks are great for:
✔ core strength
✔ posture
✔ stability
✔ muscular endurance

And they only take a minute !!

This morning’s extra movement = a pre-school run with my mini me 💜

Kids really do do as we do… so I’m trying to show her that movement and fresh air are just part of everyday life.

Throwback to the weekend…

Me & my husband taking on the Deadly Dozen together 😅💪

Not going to lie — it was tough, a bit chaotic, and definitely not perfect 😂

But that’s what it’s all about… getting stuck in, having fun, and coming out the other side feeling pretty good 👌

Proof you don’t need to be ‘elite’ to take part in things like this — just willing to give it a go.

(And maybe a willing - or not so willing 😂- partner to suffer through it with you 💜)
