We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Nobby Hills.

Where do we even start? If it wasn’t for Nobby, our Houndog project wouldn’t even be a thing. Nobby was a born showman, everything he did was for the entrainment of others….. and himself! He was a larger than life character that always left a lasting impression with everyone he met. EVERYONE has a Nobby story, most of which are so far fetch most people wouldn’t believe them.

I first met Nobby at the Autosport show in 2004, he was showing off his new Camaro ‘Houndog 12’ I would go on to spending many hours helping Nobby, Simon & Rich building Houndog 12 but ultimately it was never to be.

I’ll raise a Special Brew to you later! Thanks for the good times

Darren West of Power Race Graphics has provided us with the exciting new graphic designs for the car!

Jez Batch (who was a member of the old Houndog team back in the day) now runs Dolphin Graphics and has volunteered to turn the designs into high quality vinyl decals.
It’s a huge step forward for this project.

It has taken a bit of time but now everything is in place and, at Christmas, Jez produced a trial paper sample of the bonnet detail.
It needs a re-tweak to get the colours spot on and the blower hole needs fixing...
But, even as is, it’s looking pretty cool!
Soon all that shiny red paint will have graphics to match.
