3 things to consider when buying new gravel wheels:
1. Internal rim width. If you’re running narrower tyres (35-45mm), narrower rims may suit you best. But if you’re running 45mm tyres and up, a wider internal rim width will provide a better platform.
2. Rim depth. If you’re a weekend gravel rider, a shallow rim can suit your needs better, however the demands of modern gravel racing now often require more aero rims.
3. Hub durability. Gravel riding can be hard on your bike, and a good set of hubs from a brand like DT Swiss will be reliable for years.
