Festival of Power 2026…..
With 8 entries everyone was excited to see the event unfold
Pre event test day saw a number of the 9.50 riders take advantage of track time before things got started on the Friday qualifying.
Darren Norsworthy testing his new bike on observe runs during test day. Quickly getting to grips with everything, learning what’s required.
The class welcomed back Alex Hope and Dion Hartley also Harvey Taylor stepping up from junior drag bike.
⭐️Qualify day 1 (Friday) saw Hayden Mechaell quickest.
⭐️Onto qualify day 2.. everyone was aiming for that top spot.
Day 2 saw a BIG wheelie from Dave Hall unfortunately resulting in a chest impact which prevented Dave continuing the weekend 😔
Q4 saw 1st and 2nd swap places.
Congratulations went to Dion Hartley for No1 qualifier with Hayden in second.
⭐️Race Day ….
Due to weather conditions all bike classes raced over the 1/8th which set a new ET for the day.
9.50 became 6.05
With Dave unable to take part we saw 2 byes in the 1st round……

Which set the class final a battle of 1st & 2nd qualifiers.
🏆Hayden took the win with a 6.08 defeating Dion’s breakout 6.03.
