It’s been a day …. After the 5th run, we had a massive bang at the top end and car instantly ran rough.

Got it back to the pits, started investigating …

Found that a rocker had ripped its bolt out of the head!

Quick trip to John Sleath’s pits to grab a heli coil kit (thanks John 😊) all fixed and teched ready for tomorrow 🥵💪🏻💜

Our first go with the go pro wasn’t faultless 😂 this is our round 2 exit ignore the tantrum at the end 😂

So I fu**ed it in round 2 car was spot on went 8.897 I flickered the stage bulb so had to just stage it and hope I could get on the chip fast enough as if I bumped it would have deep staged.. She got up on the chip really quick lights dropped and I bumped instead of letting go of the transbrake…. Massive well done John Bean he still did his job spot on. Just sorry to the team as we all had to battle the heat for me to spoon it up 😂
